The Beginning

There’s something about the country that conjures up memories of a simple life-family, friends, and freedom. When life gets tough, all I need is to jump in the car, find a road meandering through the country, and all is right in the world again.

Born and raised in a small town in Michigan, I frequented my grandparent’s small farm (though the only animals by that time were geese and rabbits) on a country backroad, just 15 minutes from our house in town.  That love for farm life and the country has stayed with me through the years, traveling with me to Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and now Florida. The first two states brought me 5 years of schooling, 2 degrees, and 6 years of professional experience in Sports Physiology. As I moved from place to place, the cities kept getting bigger and bigger until I decided to leave it all behind and pursue a life long passion….horses. I’d had enough and returned to that country backroad, with everything that it stands for. Here’s my journey and my dreams coming alive.
